I like the idea of reading a thought-provoking book a month.

I read lots, but they're not always particularly enlightening or challenging books from a spiritual or lifestyle point-of-view.

Saying that, I find that they can produce lots of unexpected reactions - like films. For example, I'm reading one of my dad's at the moment about the Salisbury and Stonehenge area right through from prehistoric times to, well, whenever the book was written (not got there yet!). It's a novel, and follows five imaginary families, but also talks about changing political/religious views etc. It's quite enlightening to see this author's view on how Christianity in many guises affects individuals, areas and nations.

Anyway. Sorry. I'm rambling - I simply intended to state my interest and that I would consider adopting that resolution as one of my own.

Many thanks :D

Liz
